In Defense of Animals (IDA): http://www.idausa.org In Defense of Animals is an international animal protection organization dedicated to ending the exploitation and abuse of animals by raising the status of animals beyond that of mere property, and by defending their rights, welfare and habitat.
IDA’s efforts include educational events, cruelty investigations, boycotts, grassroots activism, and hands-on rescue through our sanctuaries in Mississippi and Cameroon, Africa.
Pan African Sanctuary Alliance (PASA): http://www.panafricanprimates.org The Pan African Sanctuary Alliance, or PASA, is an alliance of nineteen primate sanctuaries from all over Africa.
There is a very evident need for general guidelines for the establishment of authorities, site location, long term sustainability management practices, primate management and health issues. PASA is designed to bring these sanctuaries together.
International Primate Protection League (IPPL): http://www.ippl.org The International Primate Protection League was founded in 1973, and, since this time, has been working continuously for the well-being of primates. IPPL has Field Representatives in 31 countries.
Its Advisory Board is composed of experts from the fields of zoology, anthropology, medicine, biology, veterinary medicine, and psychology. Many IPPL officers have lived for long periods with primates in their natural habitats."
Great Ape Project (GAP): http://www.greatapeproject.org The idea is radical but simple: to include the nonhuman great apes within the community of equals by granting them the basic moral and legal protection that only human beings currently enjoy.
The organization is a newly established international group founded to work for the removal of the nonhuman great apes from the category of property, and for their immediate inclusion within the category of persons.

International Organization for Animal Protection: http://www.oipa.org/ OIPA is a non-governmental organization (NGO) member of the UN Department of Public Information. OIPA was founded in 1981 by Milly Shar Manzoli and belongs to the Union for the Abolition of Vivisection. The primary aim of OIPA is the abolishment of vivisection in every country throughout the world.
The International Nature Network: www.inaturenet.org The INN is a non-profit NGO promoting and reporting on activities for the protection of nature and wildlife worldwide, mainly through international volunteering. Their mission focuses on the nexus between Homo Sapiens and animals. INN aims to become active worldwide and contribute to international friendship through volunteer work that will create and support wildlife protection organizations.
